So the staff watched training videos on time management as part of their Hands-up Hands-on apprenticeship program, whilst it calmed.
The crew are setup now, and the beach is pristine. Yes some wind may come up, but like we always say when it does, no worries, just go across the road for a fantastic 'frio' or 'gelado' from vida e caffe, or a Caprice's brilliant Mojito coctail or Sandbar's delicious salads (and no, we are no being paid to say this). Expect the day to remain bright and sunny, hitting 27-8C. The water is very fresh at the moment (code for cold), but the morning has seen some excellent surfing waves, with better boogie board waves in the afternoon.
There was a fire breakout around Hely Hutchinson Avenue as you come over the Kloof Nek just now, so Beach road may be less congested if it turns out to be something big.
