Today is like a heat-seeking missle, ....except its already found us...Right now its still, and heating up like an oven. The temp will cross 30C degrees by midday. The SE wind may reach us by early evening. But nowhere in this city will you find a better place to be than Camps Bay.
So do what you can, but get here. Meet friends, bring a picnic, towel and costume. The sea is cold right now, but by evening its going to be soooo 'lekker' (local lingo for nice, very nice)
Sunset should be spectacular, for the ironic reasons that the ash thrown into the air from peninsula wide-fires illuminates the suns rays something maginficent. you can actually see the haze on the horizon from this ash, in this morning's photograph
